Our MFG moms have worked so hard throughout 2011.
Mrs Kyprou was very spoilt with regards to the upcoming birth of her first child.

Mrs Kyprou thanked all the moms from Gr 1 to Gr 7 for all they had done throughout 2011. Special reference to Mrs Sagat and to all the moms who helped make the Carnival, the huge success it was.

One of our matric students was involved in a car accident.

Class moms were asked to reconfirm their positions for 2012.

All class moms confirmed that they would act as class moms for their particular grade, for next year.

A night market was previously run by the P.T.A . Might be an idea to consider at Christmas Time or in the summer months.

It was felt that in order for a night market to be successful, a committed committee would need to organize entertainment and coordinating of food and craft stalls.

Mrs Sagat and her committee have everything under control with regards to the Grade 7 Dance on the 25th November 2011.

It was suggested that in order for children to be more interactive, they need to leave their cell phones at home. It was agreed, however, that this would be difficult to enforce.

A request re the School policy on Bullying was made.
A request for documentation with regards to helping parents counsel their own bullied child was made.

Mrs Edwards, Mrs Pritchard and Mrs Durand are currently working on Pastoral Care.
Mrs Pritchard reminded parents that resource books in the library were available to all parents requesting guidance on bullying.

It was mentioned that sometimes grade information is inaccurate or different.

It was suggested that all moms sending emails and sms’s first check the calendar, the newsletter and the school communicator. For further clarification, please contact Mrs Venter or Mrs Pritchard
